About The Position

Red Peak Technical Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, has an opening for a Warehouse Manager in the Lorton, VA area. The Warehouse Manager works closely with the Senior Warehouse Manager and supports the contract through daily oversight and management of warehouse staff and operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with government and company policies. This role involves close collaboration with DoS Warehouse Site Managers and Team Leaders daily to prioritize work requirements and maximize the utilization of the available Contractor workforce. The manager is responsible for ensuring the overall timeliness and quality of the products and services required under this contract and for all warehouse functions appropriate to the facility. The individual will be knowledgeable in all SL/W areas of Contractor/sub-contractor effort and will serve as the primary source of information regarding processing and other efforts, including the rationale behind them. Support for cross-training of Contractor personnel is crucial to ensure task coverage and the ability to quickly reallocate personnel to meet work surges or periods of austere staffing. The role requires close monitoring of attendance, productivity, and professional behavior of the assigned Contractor workforce, initiating corrective action as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of related work experience including two (2) years of hands-on experience managing large groups of staff in a warehouse or logistics related environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution plus five (5) years’ related experience, OR Ten (10) years’ related experience.
  • If no bachelor’s degree, at least ten (10) years of related work experience, including five (5) years of hands-on experience managing large groups of staff in a warehouse or logistics related environment.
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Knowledge in government supply-chain management and logistics functions
  • General understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
