About The Position

Proof of the Pudding is seeking a Warehouse Manager for the Comerica Center. This position will oversee the receiving and processing of incoming stock/product, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup for various events, and performing inventory and quality control. The role involves managing warehouse staff, ensuring the cleanliness of the warehouse and offices, creating equipment pull forms, unpacking and organizing returned equipment, counting and submitting monthly inventory, performing transfers of products, receiving products and merchandise while checking for quality and damages, operating warehouse machinery, assisting the warehouse team with equipment and inventory control, processing supply requests, preparing merchandise for delivery and shipping, ensuring security of company assets, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

2+ years of warehouse lead experience
Must be available for a variety of shift times (nights and weekends are needed)
Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to be DOT certified and have the ability/willingness to drive box trucks.
Experience in operating common warehouse machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Must be a team player and possess great communication skills
Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and following all safety protocols
Must have a strong work ethic and be highly organized
Must be proactive and hands-on

Responsibilities

Managing all warehouse staff: Warehouse Associates, loading dock workers, and temporary workers.
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and associated offices.
Creating equipment pull forms and pulling equipment for events.
Unpacking and organizing equipment returned to warehouse.
Ensure monthly inventory is counted and submitted.
Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse.
Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise.
Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Assists warehouse team with equipment & inventory control.
Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures.
Responsible for both pre & post event set-up/break down responsibilities.
Ensures security of company assets.
Performs other related duties as needed.
