About The Position

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations across both manufacturing facilities. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and timely shipment of finished goods to customers while supporting production and overall supply chain performance. The Warehouse Manager provides leadership and direction to warehouse supervisors and staff, ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and operational standards while driving efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and manage operational performance metrics.
  • Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple shifts or multi-multi-site operations preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all warehouse operations across both plants, including shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory control.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and staff to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Ensure accurate and timely receipt of raw materials, packaging, and ingredients.
  • Oversee picking, staging, labeling, and shipment of finished goods according to customer and distribution requirements.
  • Ensure all shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing slips, purchase orders) is accurate and properly maintained.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation processes.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse space utilization, organization, and material flow efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, and all food safety and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment across both facilities.
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure operational alignment and on-time shipments.
  • Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs for forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
  • Analyze warehouse performance metrics including inventory accuracy, shipping accuracy, order fulfillment, and labor efficiency.
  • Implement and support process improvements to reduce errors, improve efficiency, and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Train, mentor, and develop warehouse employees on safety, procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Lead investigations and corrective actions related to inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, or safety incidents.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of all materials in accordance with food safety requirements.
  • Generate and review warehouse reports and provide updates to senior leadership.
  • Enforce company policies and operational procedures consistently across all warehouse functions and shifts.
