Bluegrass Supply Chain is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead our Columbus operations. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of daily warehouse operations. This role ensures the efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inventory while driving improvements in productivity, quality, and cost control. You will lead warehouse personnel, oversee inventory accuracy, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and champion operational excellence across all functions. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of warehouse management or operations leadership experience
  • Forklift certification required
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing teams
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in WMS platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Solid knowledge of inventory management, shipping/receiving, and logistics operations
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • heavy forklift experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, coach, and supervise warehouse associates, forklift operators, and order pickers
  • Set clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable
  • Develop a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Identify and develop future leaders within the operation
  • Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes
  • Ensure on-time, accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy metrics and implement improvements
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through effective cycle counting and physical inventory processes
  • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to ensure accountability
  • Leverage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to improve visibility and performance
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct safety training, audits, and routine inspections
  • Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure proper documentation
