About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, staging, and distribution of HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies. The Warehouse Manager will ensure a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, develop and enforce procedures, and coordinate logistics. Key functions include inventory management, supporting technicians and field personnel, coordinating with vendors and purchasing, leading warehouse staff, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, staging, and distribution.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, including cycle counts and discrepancy investigation.
  • Experience managing HVAC equipment, parts, tools, refrigerants, and consumables.
  • Familiarity with vendor and purchasing coordination, including verification of documentation.
  • Experience in team leadership and supervision.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Understanding of proper handling and storage of hazardous materials, including refrigerants.
  • Ability to conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, receiving, stocking, staging, and distribution of HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Develop and enforce warehouse procedures and best practices.
  • Coordinate loading and unloading of deliveries.
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and tracked.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage HVAC equipment, parts, tools, refrigerants, and consumables.
  • Work closely with purchasing to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Prepare and stage materials for installation and service jobs.
  • Coordinate tool and equipment assignments for field personnel.
  • Ensure technicians receive required materials before scheduled jobs.
  • Track company-owned tools, equipment, and assets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Verify purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.
  • Assist with sourcing materials and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Resolve delivery, quality, or inventory issues with vendors.
  • Supervise warehouse associates, drivers, and support staff as assigned.
  • Train employees on warehouse procedures, safety standards, and inventory controls.
  • Monitor performance and provide coaching and development.
  • Assist with scheduling and workload distribution.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of HVAC equipment, refrigerants, and hazardous materials.
  • Conduct routine warehouse safety inspections.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
