About The Position

The primary function of the Warehouse Manager will be to oversee the tooling and facility operations, facilitate business needs and requests for the customer base. This resource will have technical competency, employee management, financial responsibilities, productivity metrics and cost analysis, as well as administrative responsibilities.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Relocation/travel will be a prerequisite.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in related fields
  • Must have prior experience in warehouse operations and maintenance / operation of basic tools and equipment.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver License is required.
  • Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the warehouse facility in all the aspects of the operations, define and supervise the logistics contractors, ensuring the contractors compliance with all the contractual obligation, taking care of the timely payment of the invoices;
  • Work with the management to develop new tools and consolidate the existing tools;
  • Support national tooling standardization initiatives;
  • Promote innovation and digitalization of the facility;
  • Build and managing a revamping capacity organization and able to refurbish test and develop new tools;
  • Manage staff warehouse employees to execute the day by day task;
  • Manage the contractors that are required to work at the tool facility;
  • Manage employees’ performance, identifying training and job assignment, mobilization of field employees, and addressing daily employee needs and requests;
  • Work closely with the clients to successfully accommodate all business needs;
  • Follow up with the logistic team regarding the shipment of the tools, work with the team to establish and negotiate the service contract terms and conditions;
  • Maintain positive employee relations and resolve employee performance issues in a timely manner;
  • Keep information accurate and updated in all systems;
  • Assist with HR issues, employee safety issues, Time & Expense review/approval, company initiatives, and other office related activities;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
