About The Position

Pretium Packaging is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in St. Louis, Missouri and play a critical role in delivering operational excellence. You'll oversee inventory, shipping, receiving, safety, and warehouse personnel while driving continuous improvement across the operation. Requirements

  • Five or more years of leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Experience leading warehouse teams and managing daily operations.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode/scanning technology.
  • Knowledge of FTL, LTL, and small parcel shipping processes and documentation.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Continuous improvement experience in warehouse operations.
  • Experience managing inventory in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, material handlers, and warehouse associates.
  • Establish warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity, and workflow.
  • Manage inventory through cycle counts, audits, and inventory control processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners.
  • Utilize WMS, ERP systems, and inventory software to manage operations and analyze performance.
  • Drive improvements in picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
  • Track KPIs including productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, safety, and on-time shipping.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Transportation.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees through performance management.
