Warehouse Manager
About The Position
Pretium Packaging is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in St. Louis, Missouri and play a critical role in delivering operational excellence. You'll oversee inventory, shipping, receiving, safety, and warehouse personnel while driving continuous improvement across the operation. Requirements
- Five or more years of leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Experience leading warehouse teams and managing daily operations.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode/scanning technology.
- Knowledge of FTL, LTL, and small parcel shipping processes and documentation.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
- Continuous improvement experience in warehouse operations.
- Experience managing inventory in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, material handlers, and warehouse associates.
- Establish warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity, and workflow.
- Manage inventory through cycle counts, audits, and inventory control processes.
- Monitor inventory levels to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners.
- Utilize WMS, ERP systems, and inventory software to manage operations and analyze performance.
- Drive improvements in picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Track KPIs including productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, safety, and on-time shipping.
- Collaborate with Operations, Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Transportation.
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees through performance management.
