About The Position

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Northlake, Texas. This position offers weekly pay of $26.50 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour shift premium and overtime pay of $39.75 per hour. The schedule is for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with flexibility required for varying hours and potential weekend work. Ryder aims to provide a safe warehouse environment with state-of-the-art equipment for its employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills
• Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues

Responsibilities

• Complete all routine lubrications, repairs and trouble shooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment
• Assist and monitor all work being performed by outside contractors
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems
• Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined
