About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Greenwood, Indiana. The role supports warehouse operations by maintaining and repairing mechanical warehouse equipment, production machinery, conveyors, building systems, and grounds. The facility handles electronics and is described as clean, organized, and focused on providing a safe supply chain environment.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pay starts at $25.00 per hour based on experience, with overtime pay of $37.50 per hour. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude for investigating and solving mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine lubrication, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist with and monitor work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company and applicable local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Operate equipment and obtain equipment certification if required by the location.
• Take on special projects and other responsibilities as determined.
