About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Greenwood, Indiana. The role supports warehouse operations by maintaining and repairing mechanical warehouse equipment, production machinery, conveyors, building systems, and grounds. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with hourly pay starting at $25.00 based on experience and overtime pay of $37.50 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude for investigating and problem-solving mechanical issues.
• Some positions may require employment and education verification, a motor vehicle records check and road test, and/or customer badging or background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine lubrication, repairs, and troubleshooting for mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist with and monitor work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls to support cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company and local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Operate equipment and obtain equipment certification if required by the location.
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
