About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Northlake, Texas. The role supports a clean, organized, and safe supply chain facility handling manual and automated warehouse equipment. Pay is $26.50 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for second-shift work. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

The technician maintains warehouse mechanical equipment and building systems, completes repairs and preventive maintenance, monitors contractor work, and supports safe, cost-effective facility operations. Depending on the location, the employee may need to operate equipment and obtain equipment certification. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance programs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Ability to investigate and problem-solve mechanical issues.
• Experience with a scissor lift, EPJ, and reach truck is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine lubrication, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist with and monitor work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company and applicable local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Depending on location, operate equipment and obtain equipment certification if required.
• Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
