About The Position

This is a part-time, first-shift position focused on supporting warehouse operations. The role involves organizing, managing, and cleaning backroom and storage areas, coordinating with teams for freight transportation, assisting with customer product retrieval and loading, and maintaining inventory. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a team player, and willing to assist in various capacities as needed.

Requirements

Minimum of a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Follow all safety procedures and perform job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury.

Responsibilities

Assist associates by organizing, managing, and cleaning backroom spaces and fixture storage areas.
Organize, communicate, and coordinate scheduling effectively with all levels within the organization before transporting freight/fixtures to the various departments/off-site warehouse.
Coordinate with the receiving team to maintain a high level of organization in the freight room and drop zone.
Plan for a large seasonal shipment in addition to maintaining the flow of freight all year.
Assist customers and salespeople with retrieving and loading purchased products.
Maintain orderly appearance of personal workspace and surrounding areas, including off-site warehouses.
Be knowledgeable of all equipment and tools, and how to use them properly.
Assist in the removal of snow and debris from walkways, rooftops, and landscaping around the building.
Update warehouse inventory.
