About The Position
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Warehouse Logistics Associate supports distribution operations, including receiving, storing, controlling inventory, picking and packing construction supply materials, and dispatching delivery trucks. The position provides general warehouse assistance and may perform receiving and shipping functions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, typically 40 hours per week, with overtime available depending on NEFCO’s needs. This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system.
- Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive, hard-working attitude.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand on a concrete floor for long periods.
- Ability to work for extended periods in varying climate conditions, including cold, heat, and humidity.
- Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, and twist while lifting.
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, and obtain recertification.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities
- Pull and stage orders.
- Maintain bin locations.
- Help ensure warehouse safety, organization, and cleanliness.
- Assist with cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Attend safety training and meetings and follow applicable rules and regulations.
- Inspect forklifts and complete inspection reports; operate forklifts.
- Communicate consistently with management and branch personnel.
- Verify inventory against purchase orders for accuracy.
- Receive inventory into the NEFCO ERP software system.
- Stage and shelve inventory.
- Use RF technology to pick orders and verify items.
- Send picked orders to the packing department.
- Pack goods according to NEFCO processes and procedures.
- Load trucks with packed orders in a specified sequence.
