About The Position

The part-time Warehouse Loader assists with warehouse activities, including loading, repacking, inventory, and maintenance. The role involves loading bulk and route trucks and paying close attention to outgoing and incoming shipments. Using order sheets, the loader builds loads with a forklift and electronic pallet jack, ensures loading accuracy, follows shipper and receiver documentation and warehouse instructions, and maintains a clean and safe work environment. Work may take place in several weather conditions and involves repeatedly lifting a high volume of product cases weighing 20–45 pounds over a long work period.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.
• Ability to repeatedly lift cases weighing 20–45 pounds over a long work period, as described in the position overview.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift operation experience.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Load designated product packages and flavors into route truck bays.
• Rotate product on trucks and in the warehouse according to expiration dates.
• Clean and repackage products according to RBDC standards.
• Dispose of damaged or out-of-code product after approval from the Operations Manager.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by disposing of trash nightly, sweeping floors daily, and using a floor scrubber periodically.
• Build loads from order sheets using a forklift and electronic pallet jack.
• Ensure loading accuracy and comply with shipper/receiver documentation and warehouse instructions.
