About The Position

As a Loader, you will move pallets of merchandise from staging areas and load proper trailers. This is a full-time, 1st shift position available with a starting rate of $19/hr and an earning potential of $25+/hr after training. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. The location is 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406. You will contribute by utilizing forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks, completing trailer inspections before loading, verifying orders with RF handhelds and/or voice headsets, loading full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensuring they are secured properly, performing equipment inspections, and occasionally safely lifting varying case weights, shapes, and heights.

Requirements

One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment
Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures
Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others
Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact our communities
Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
General Equivalency Diploma - General Studies, High School Diploma - General Studies

Responsibilities

Utilizing forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks
Completing inspection of trailers before loading any product
Verifying loading of orders by RF handhelds and/or voice headsets
Loading full pallets of merchandise into trailers & ensuring pallets are secured properly to avoid damages
Performing equipment inspections & completion of appropriate form
Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
