About The Position

Freight Breakers LLC is hiring Warehouse Loaders/Unloaders for weekday overnight operations at its West Jordan, Utah warehouse. The position involves handling, scanning, sorting, loading, and unloading packages while maintaining safe handling practices and consistent productivity throughout overnight shifts. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM the following morning. Pay is performance-based, determined by the volume of trailers and/or cases processed. Typical earnings are $16–$25 per hour, with employees achieving higher productivity potentially earning $25–$35 per hour; the upper end is not guaranteed. Eligible employees may receive health, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with paid time off, subject to applicable plan terms. Occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• Availability to work the full Monday–Thursday overnight schedule.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and move packages weighing 5–50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout overnight shifts.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Successful completion of required background and drug screenings, where permitted by applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Load packages from conveyor systems into trailers.
• Stack freight securely to help prevent shifting and damage.
• Unload packages from floor-loaded trailers onto conveyors.
• Scan packages and sort them into designated cages or staging areas.
• Move package cages between assigned work areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and operational instructions.
• Meet applicable productivity and accuracy standards.
