Warehouse Loader/Unloader – Weekday Nights
About The Position
Freight Breakers LLC is hiring Warehouse Loaders/Unloaders for weekday overnight operations at its West Jordan, Utah warehouse. The role involves handling, scanning, sorting, loading, and unloading packages while maintaining safe handling practices and consistent productivity throughout overnight shifts. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM the following morning. Pay is performance-based and determined by the volume of trailers and/or cases processed. Typical earnings range from $16–$25 per hour, with potential earnings of $25–$35 per hour for higher productivity; the upper end is not guaranteed and actual earnings depend on productivity and applicable compensation terms. Eligible employees may receive health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as paid time off, subject to applicable plan terms. Occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs. The work location is 6791 W. 9800 S., West Jordan, UT 84084.
Requirements
- Availability to work the full Monday–Thursday overnight schedule.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and move packages weighing 5–50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout overnight shifts.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Successful completion of required background and drug screenings, where permitted by applicable law.
Responsibilities
- Load packages from conveyor systems into trailers.
- Stack freight securely to help prevent shifting and damage.
- Unload packages from floor-loaded trailers onto conveyors.
- Scan packages and sort them into designated cages or staging areas.
- Move package cages between assigned work areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and operational instructions.
- Meet applicable productivity and accuracy standards.
