About The Position

Drive Medical is a leading manufacturer of medical products with a strong track record of growth. We are currently hiring for 1st shift Warehouse Loaders to join our team. Teammates will operate a stand-up forklift and electric pallet jack to load trucks. The primary product lines include medical devices ranging from canes to wheelchairs and in-home hospital beds. These products are critical to our customers' lives, and you will be part of a team driving best-in-class metrics in Safety, Quality, and Service.

Requirements

• Forklift experience required

Responsibilities

• Loading/Unloading medical equipment
• Accurately loads trailer with customer orders
• Follow and adhere to daily checklist for trailers and all equipment
• Operates an electric pallet jack or pacer to transport product to load/unload trailers and organize Dock floor
• Staging equipment, etc.
• Utilize equipment to properly wrap and secure product to pallets
• Record numbers of pallets handled or moved using load manifest sheets to record trailers loaded
• Maintain the accuracy of loading with proper Bill of Ladings (BOL)
• Verify orders are complete prior to shipping
• Communicate the status of trucks with supervisors and other coordinators
• Use of banding machine to strap pallets to the pallets as needed
• Develop an attitude and participate in an environment of continuous improvement
