The Warehouse Lead is a senior member of the warehouse team who supports daily operations by helping coordinate work on the floor. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to guide teammates.
  • Experience with warehouse systems preferred.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Perform core warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and ensure items are stored and labeled correctly.
  • Assist with routine cycle counts and correct basic inventory discrepancies.
  • Assign tasks to team members based on daily work plan provided by the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Reassign work as needed to keep tasks moving efficiently when volume or priorities shift.
  • Support technicians with material needs by preparing, pulling, or staging items.
  • Train new and existing team members on warehouse procedures, equipment use, and safety guidelines, under the Supervisor’s direction.
  • Serve as an on-floor resource for questions and process clarification.
  • Identify issues such as missing inventory, incorrect picks, or equipment problems.
  • Resolve simple issues directly and escalate anything unusual or complex to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and help ensure others do the same.
  • Report safety concerns and equipment needs promptly.
