About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Warehouse Lead - 3rd Shift at our Dallas, TX facility! The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour. The core hours are 9:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m, Sunday - Thursday. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The Warehouse Lead will assist the Legacy Supervisor with production scheduling, task assignment, and analysis of productivity data. They wil also coordinate on-the-job training and ensure compliance with site safety regulations through consistent follow-up and oversight.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one year of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle complex priorities.
  • Ability to generate analyticial reporting via Excel for Front Line Leaders.
  • Must have an understanding of performance expectations and the ability to maintain productive teams in all supportive processes.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication.
  • Must be responsive to customer requests both internally and externally.
  • Must be able to exercise discretion and judgment.
  • Must be able to learn on the job, adapt to changes, and become proficient quickly.
  • Strong PC skills-Microsoft Office Suite, Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS), and SAP.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree or higher, in a related field of study (i.e. Business, Supply Chain).

Responsibilities

  • Assist Supervisor in day-to-day DC operations.
  • Monitor workload and productivity dashboard and allocate resources as required.
  • Coordinate all OJT and safety training requirements.
  • Participate in OJT and safety team.
  • Assist in productivity and non-conformance data collection and analysis.
  • Research answers and correct minor day-to-day operations problems and questions; troubleshooting to include both internal and external customer inquiries.
  • Recommend new ideas and proposals supporting site scorecard categories and initiatives.
  • Provide temporary supervision as required if Supervisor is away - of limited time duration.
  • Support all site quality and productivity goals.
  • Support kai-ban replenishment system and coordinate material handling with warehouse (W34).
  • Perform work of equal or lower classifications as needed.
  • Observe safety policies, report unsafe acts and hazards, and maintain a clean and orderly department.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
