Job Description: The person hired for the position of Warehouse Operator (3rd Shift) will work at our 3M DeKalb, IL Site, this shift is from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am . The assignment could be anywhere from hand assembly, running machinery, warehouse general work or packaging. Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Able to work some weekends, overtime, extended hours & holidays as needed.
  • Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as part of the selection process.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a warehouse operations role in a private, public, government of military environment
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Work at various machines or stations assembling product or operating machinery, picking and/or packaging finished goods, and/or inspecting products.
  • Use computers as needed to run process operation, input data, update inventory, etc.
  • Follow operating procedures and customer specifications to produce quality products which are delivered to customers on time.
  • Fill and process orders for shipment.
  • Picking and Packing Orders
  • Checking for damaged or missing items
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
