About The Position

Responsible for moving Flight Hour Service (FHS) through and out of the warehouse in a safe and clean manner, following Service Level Agreement (SLA), Technical Specification, priorities, instructions given by regional Warehouse Management . The warehouse operation is 24 x 7 x 365 days a year and will require shift work and periodic weekend work and on-call. This position is designated as crucial personnel (subject to mandatory attendance - incumbents in crucial positions are required to attend their normal place of work when the facility is closed). Receive, Inspect, Record keeping, Storage, Pick, Pack and Ship all FHS Non-HAZMAT and HAZMAT materials in compliance with IATA regulations and operational guidelines on a daily basis. Prepare shipping documents - Understanding and willingness to sign a dangerous good declaration on HAZMAT material. Detect, record and follow up on NON-Conformities Accurately input all FHS material information into FHS Systems (AMASIS) that are related to Receiving, Inspection, Put-away, Picking, Shipping and Scrapping Pick and process orders in the accurate priority sequence according to established performance targets; packing parts for safe shipment according to shipping instructions and applicable standard specifications (ATA300). Perform inventory cycle counts, Maintain Quality Management System certification, Participate in surveillance audits, and root cause analysis Participate in special projects. Advise supervisor of any process, inventory or system issues immediately. Adhere to all processes and procedures such as hazardous materials, safety, OSHA, etc. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to successfully complete hazardous material training
  • Ability to successfully complete Material Handling Equipment Training
  • 2 years of warehouse experience
  • 1 years of experience using SAP or equivalent material/operations management software
  • Ability to gather and analyze material management data for decision making using Microsoft Office Products and SAP (or similar product) based inventory management software
  • Familiarity with OSHA requirements and ability to work safely
  • Forklift certification or ability to acquire
  • Hazmat certification or ability to acquire
  • Ability to communicate in English, both in writing and verbally
  • Familiarity with using computer systems, preferably SAP, MS Office and Lotus Notes
  • Authorized to Work in the US without current or future need for visa sponsorship
  • Able to meet daily KPIs for pick, pack, inspection, and binning targets
  • Able to carry between 50-75 pounds by yourself and up to 125 pounds two person carry
  • Able to participate in phone and in-person conversations and also able to hear sirens, alarms and other emergency signals
  • Able to lift between 50-75 pounds by yourself and up to 125 pounds two person carry
  • Able to push/pull items over short distances and on occasion
  • Able to sit for long periods of time in meetings; drafting computer-based documents, sometimes with limited breaks
  • Able to occasionally squat and to replace or retrieve items from low storage
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, touring vendor facilities, traveling and similar activities
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally sometimes on short notice and sometimes for long periods of time
