About The Position

The Warehouse Lead will report to the Store Operations Manager and is responsible for leading and coordinating the daily workflow of the warehouse team. This includes overseeing receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and loading processes. The role involves providing excellent customer service, leading inventory control, training new team members, and ensuring a safe work environment. The Warehouse Lead will also serve as the point person for daily operations in the absence of the Store Operations Manager.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Able to unload containers and trucks (up to 700 cartons).
Reliable. Consistent. On-Time.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work in a multi-task environment that requires shifts in direction to serve the needs of the business.
Outstanding listening and communication skills.
Team player who works well with others. Respectful.
Able to work some Saturdays.
Moderate computer literacy.
Forklift certification required.
3+ years warehouse experience required.
High school or equivalent preferred.

Nice To Haves

Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
Bilingual English and Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the warehouse team's daily workflow, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and loading.
Receive and put away incoming shipments — cabinets and vanities in cartons, windows, and boxed doors — and oversee others doing the same.
Provide friendly, timely, and accurate customer service in picking, packing, and loading orders, setting the standard for the team.
Lead cycle counts and inventory control, ensuring accuracy and following up on discrepancies.
Train new warehouse workers on processes, safety procedures, and equipment use.
Serve as the point person for daily warehouse operations in the absence of the Store Operations Manager.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and help enforce safety protocols across the team.
