About The Position

Miller International, the creative force behind Cinch® and Cruel® brands, is seeking an inspiring and driven Warehouse Lead with exceptional leadership skills. This role reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and plays a pivotal role in guiding general Distribution Center Operations and supporting management by acting as the first line of assistance for warehouse associates. Requirements

  • 5+ years of warehouse/distribution experience required, including 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to read and understand English.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Knowledge of all warehouse roles; cross-trained in all aspects of warehouse operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills; able to lead by example.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse team.
  • Independent thinker with good judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems, applications, and upgrades.
  • Proven track record of reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime as needed.
  • Flexibility to stay late with little or no notice.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Regularly lift and/or move 20–40 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pull orders from various shelf heights.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by communicating and acting in a manner that fosters collaboration with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
  • Provide hands-on support in receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory processes for apparel items.
  • Provide general guidance, direction, training, and technical assistance to warehouse associates.
  • Serve as a role model for warehouse associates by consistently demonstrating high ethical standards.
  • Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity; identify and resolve production issues; assist team members in achieving goals.
  • Train and guide new team members on apparel handling procedures, warehouse equipment, and safety practices.
  • Act as the first point of contact for resolving basic issues or questions from warehouse associates.
  • Conduct spot checks to ensure product quality, accurate labeling, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure work environment and ensure that employees comply with company and departmental safety policies.
  • Communicate process delays, equipment issues, staffing concerns, or productivity issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Assist with inventory counts and help reconcile discrepancies.
  • Verify and enter data into the computer system.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified).
  • May perform additional tasks such as picking, shipping and receiving, returns, inventory, data entry, and loading trucks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
