About The Position

A Lead Warehouse Representative is responsible for the management of inventory, order processing, and safety, including warehouse duties such as stocking and retrieving items, driving a forklift, and general housekeeping. This role provides support to drivers and warehouse personnel, oversees the efficient operation of the yard, warehouse, and all vehicles, and maintains accurate inventory records. The position also involves determining storage locations for products, completing Hazardous Material shipping papers, training on transportation rules and regulations, and ensuring all regulatory safety and training requirements are met. Additionally, the Lead Warehouse Representative ensures all parts are in stock, maintains proper parts inventory, organizes and maintains safety training and records, and builds influence across teams by advising on financial and operational matters while fostering clear communication to support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience
  • At least 18 years old
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience as a forklift driver (certification will be offered on the job)
  • Expertise in operating material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, and pallet jack
  • Proficient with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows, Windows applications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively lead the warehouse team
  • Handles complex and nuanced assignments that require advanced skills, independent judgment, and critical thinking to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to drivers and warehouse personnel.
  • Oversee the efficient operation of the yard, warehouse, and all vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring no product leaves or enters the warehouse without the necessary paperwork.
  • Provide additional oversight to the maintenance of equipment.
  • Determine storage location for products.
  • Complete Hazardous Material shipping papers and train drivers and warehouse workers about transportation rules and regulations.
  • Meet and complete all regulatory safety and training requirements.
  • Ensure that all parts are in stock and maintain proper parts inventory.
  • Organize and maintain safety training and records.
  • Build influence across teams, advising on financial and operational matters while fostering clear communication to support organizational goals.
