About The Position

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead - Night Shift is a key link between the company and its customer base of collision repair shops in the region. The goal for each Warehouse Lead is to provide support to a fast-paced Warehouse Team. A successful Warehouse Lead will be able to be a contributor to the workflow of the department that oversees the warehouse operations and staff.

Must be able to engage in frequent, repeated, rapid, and/or strenuous physical activity for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and knowledge of how to lift and carry objects safely, cautiously, and effectively
Must be able to safely operate equipment, observe safety procedures, and meet safety requirements
Staging, loading, unloading parts, and stocking, locating, and maintaining warehouse inventory
Responsibilities include pulling orders for delivery and shipment
Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system

Responsibilities

Assist in Safety and Warehouse Processes training
Maintain a safe and clean warehouse (Building and Equipment maintenance following safety regulations; trash clean up, facility repairs or equipment repair)
Assist in physical labor
Instruct, direct and work along with a team assigned by a Warehouse Supervisor while working on any specific warehouse task to meet deadlines (Shipping, Receiving, Maintenance, Quality Control)
Communicate with Supervisors—Update on assigned tasks/warehouse associate progress/issues or adjustments when needed
Troubleshoot problems associated with daily operations in major warehouse tasks (Receiving, Shipping, Maintenance and Quality Control)
An ability to interpret KPIs and guide the team to achieve the goals set forth
