About The Position

Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. is seeking a motivated Warehouse Lead Hand (Night Shift) to join their team in London, Ontario. As a critical link between the warehouse floor and management, this full-time, permanent role involves coordinating and assisting in the supervision of warehouse functions to ensure customers receive the freshest products. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of previous warehouse experience is required.
  • Must have Full G License.
  • Proven ability to operate a PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) and use RF handheld computers.
  • Ability to immediately perceive auditory warning signals (bells, horns, alarms) for moving equipment.
  • Capable of standing and moving for more than 2/3 of the shift, including reaching, stooping, and crouching.
  • Physically capable of Heavy Work, including frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs or more.
  • Strong verbal and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse operations and monitor the receiving, selection, and loading of products.
  • Instruct and check the work of team members while providing essential training on job techniques and safety requirements.
  • Monitor and prioritize order fulfillment and investigate inventory or operational variances.
  • Assist in employee observations for performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Resolve warehouse issues, conflicts, or operational bottlenecks as they arise.
  • Ensure all staff follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) while using required PPE.
