About The Position

The Warehouse Lead supports management and helps maintain safe, consistent warehouse operations. The role includes pre-shift meetings, stretching exercises, safety observations, coaching, training, communication with leadership, and yard marshalling duties. It is described as a next step in an associate’s path to management, with opportunities to learn receiving, unloading, and loading operations in a warehouse facility. The Warehouse Lead may work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision, and has direct contact with customer staff and outside delivery personnel. The role oversees a specified work area to maintain workflow and meet customer expectations, and handles pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.

Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced, very physical environment.
Ability to lift and carry 25–75 pounds.
Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred, but the employer is willing to train the right candidate.
