Warehouse Lead

The Warehouse Lead will assist the warehouse supervisor/manager with daily warehouse operations as a hands-on leader of the warehouse associates.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ general warehouse experience
- Minimum 1 – 3 years’ of demonstrated staff leadership and motivation experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to effectively use the computer system to record materials received and shipped
- Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations
- Effective communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Comfort in facilitating meetings and communicating with leadership.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the warehouse to ensure work targets are met.
- Receive and store materials and supplies
- Entry of received items into SAP
- Pull stock to fulfill customer orders, utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Responsible for the branch On-Time Delivery performance and reporting.
- Prepare paperwork including shipping labels, quality documents, and instructions
- Perform quality checks to ensure quality compliance
- Lead daily cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy
- Assist with EIS safety and compliance policy procedure documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse
- All other duties assigned and required
