About The Position

The Specialties Warehouse Associate is crucial for maintaining the flow of the warehouse, ensuring that products are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately. They are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, managing inventory, and preparing products for installation. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working in a warehouse environment, particularly with heavy items such as glass.
Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and safety measures.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Load and unload delivery trucks, moving the product by hand or with forklifts.
Organize stock within the warehouse and ensure areas are kept neat and tidy, including securing glass properly to prevent damage.
Conduct inventory checks and assist in managing inventory levels to ensure ready availability of products.
Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
Assist in the preparation of orders for installation, staging goods in a time-efficient manner.
Maintain safety standards by following policies and procedures and wearing protective equipment as required.
Collaborate with the operations team to meet and exceed business goals.
Respect and uphold standards of confidentiality and professionalism within the workspace.
