Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in a distribution center or storage yard. This role involves loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products and materials, maintaining equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion, and performing daily equipment inspections. The Warehouse Lead must operate all equipment safely and efficiently, following OSHA standards. Responsibilities include unloading inbound shipments, pulling and preparing products for shipment, moving product to rail cars, trailers, or containers, ensuring accuracy and reporting quality variances, maintaining inventory control and security through record-keeping, assisting with physical inventories, and ensuring proper stock rotation. The role also requires following customer requirements for loading and unloading, coordinating with other departments, performing good housekeeping, promoting safety, reporting unsafe conditions, following Good Manufacturing Practices, and observing all company safety rules. Other duties may be assigned.
