About The Position

The Warehouse Lead ensures the nightly duties are completed by the team day-to-day. This role involves distributing newspapers and materials to independent contractors, ensuring quality control of newspaper bundles, verification and disposal of single copy returns, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dock area. The Warehouse Lead also communicates with management regarding route issues and occasionally delivers newspapers as required. A strong commitment to company policies, professional conduct, and reliable attendance is essential.

Requirements

Safely drive to and from locations.
Hold a valid driving license.
Maintain a safe driving record.
On-site, regular and reliable attendance is required.
A reliable vehicle is required.
Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality control of newspaper bundles being distributed to contractors.
Verification and disposal of single copy returns.
Maintain cleanliness of dock area.
Communicate with Home Delivery Manager and District Sales Managers in the event of a route not picked up by contractor.
Occasionally deliver newspapers as required.
Fully comply with all company policies and procedures and at all times when representing the company, operate in a thorough professional manner including communication, attendance, punctuality and dress.
On-site, regular and reliable attendance is required.
