We’re looking for a Warehouse Lead to help guide and lead the Warehouse Team to meet all goals and expectations of the department. You will report to the Warehouse Manager out of our office in Plano, TX.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Monitor stock levels to ensure availability, conduct regular cycle counts and audits for accuracy, implement control procedures to minimize losses and discrepancies, itemize and distribute incoming mail, and communicate with HQ regarding supply orders and inventory needs.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, providing feedback, and set clear team goals.
  • Monitor team performance, provide critical feedback, and report on metrics.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, optimize warehouse layout and inventory placement for efficiency, and oversee the safe use of equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, work with the Operations Manager on projects, and support internal customers.
  • Create a positive team environment, motivate team members, and address feedback and conflicts.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for better inventory management, and develop and maintain SOPs for handling and management.
  • Prioritize tasks, make informed decisions, and act with a sense of urgency to support both the team and business needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies. Generate and analyze inventory reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including proper handling and storage of materials. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or safety concerns.
