Starch Concrete is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee the daily operations of the warehouse and ensure the efficient and safe delivery of materials to the construction sites. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of construction small tools equipment (i.e. skilsaw, bulldog tools).
  • 2+ years of large quantity small tools management and distribution experience.
  • 2+ years of directly managing inventory control processes (receiving, organizing, and coordination of deliveries)
  • At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and vehicles, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and trucks.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain vendor relations.
  • Strong work ethic, team player, ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and monitor the daily activities of the warehouse.
  • Ensure the proper storage, handling, and distribution of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Load and unload trucks, verifying the accuracy of delivery documents.
  • Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles, reporting any issues or needed repairs.
  • Coordinate and track the daily management of small tools, ensuring efficient deployment to jobs.
  • Supervise and assign tasks related to the receiving, handling, and distribution of small tools for next-day deliveries.
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures for equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to maintain proper inventory levels of small tools at all times.
  • Manage and dispatch deliveries scheduled for the following day.
  • Responsible for small tools inventory management, including tracking inventory receivables and providing weekly reports.
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
  • Resolve any warehouse-related problems or complaints.
  • Prepare and submit warehouse reports and records regularly.
