About The Position

Requires employee to lead and coordinate activities. Required to perform any single task, or combination of tasks for any position within the department. Inventory control, auditing, delegating expeditor tasks, establishing a cross-functional team, adhering to standard work as well as distributing that to team, others items as they are assigned to the position.

  • Able to lift less than 50lbs without assistance and more than 50lbs using a team-lift

  • Close Vision, Distance Vision, Color Vision, Peripheral Vision, Depth Vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lead and warehouse experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Review production schedule and work orders for the day
  • Assure all moveable stock (PIT’s) are in working condition and escalate work orders for items that need to be repaired
  • Prints daily expeditor sheets and communicates to team on what is to be executed for the day
  • Helps facilitate continuous change while implementing new projects and tools
  • Verifies scrap levels and reports daily
  • Reporting to supervisor
  • Monitors work area to ensure Hörmann policies and procedures are followed
  • Assure quality standards are met for finished products.
  • Escalate items that need QC or supervisorial attention
  • Understand all the tasks for each position so that thorough training can be achieved and improved upon as needed
