About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Warehouse Lead (Outbound) - 1st Shift at our Dallas, TX facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $24.00/hr - $26.00/hr per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of one(1) year of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B ,H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree or higher, in a related field of study (i.e. Business, Supply Chain).
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle complex priorities.
  • Ability to generate analytical reporting via Excel for Front Line Leaders.
  • Must have an understanding of performance expectations and the ability to maintain productive teams in all support processes.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication.
  • Must be responsive to customer requests both internally and externally.
  • Must be able to exercise discretion and judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Supervisor in day-to-day DC operations.
  • Monitor workload and productivity dashboard and allocate resources as required.
  • Coordinate all OJT and safety training requirements.
  • Participate in OJT and safety team.
  • Assist in productivity and non-conformance data collection and analysis.
  • Research answers and correct minor day-to-day operations problems and questions; troubleshooting to include both internal and external customer inquiries.
  • Recommend new ideas and proposals supporting site scorecard categories and initiatives.
  • Provide temporary supervision as required if Supervisor is away – of limited time duration.
  • Support all site quality and productivity goals.
  • Support kai-ban replenishment system and coordinate material handling with warehouse (W34).
  • Perform work of equal or lower classifications as needed.
