Requirements

  • Must have valid driver's license and automotive insurance.
  • Must regularly provide the agency with proof of valid automotive insurance.
  • Employees who utilize an agency vehicle must submit to a BMV check.
  • Tow Motor certified.
  • Background check required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist warehouse leadership in the daily operation of efficiently and effectively meeting retail needs.
  • Supervise daily operation/maintenance of all warehouse machinery.
  • Have the ability to operate all agency vehicles assigned to the department.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures, CARF standards, and safe/security regulations.
  • Assist in the supervision of baler/dock workers and program participants.
  • Schedule safety and in-service training for all forklift operators, baler operators, and helpers.
  • Work in tandem with the Regional Directors of Retail on the proper flow of merchandise from the ADC's and warehouse.
  • Provide/maintain safe equipment and working conditions for all areas supervised.
  • Prepare and distribute daily inventory reports of warehouse product.
  • Load and unload the trailers in a timely manner. Keep product in their designated areas.
  • Pull the DRS and have the trailers loaded before the drivers start their routes.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Evaluate and make recommended changes in operating policy and procedure after supervisor's approval.
  • Supports and engrains DGR MODE guiding principles in daily operations.
  • Ends every donor interaction with "You changed a life today, thank you!"
  • Follows all agency safety policies and guidelines. Actively participates with supervisor and team members to address identified safety concerns.
