About The Position

This role is an opportunity for an associate to take the next step towards management. The position involves learning all aspects of receiving/unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision. The role requires a high level of direct contact with customers' staff and outside delivery personnel, emphasizing the ability to interact in a positive and friendly manner. The associate will oversee a specified area within the work environment to maintain a consistent workflow and meet customer expectations. Responsibilities include handling the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.

Requirements

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform fast-paced and very physical work.
• Ability to lift and carry 25-75lbs.
• Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but not required as training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift meetings.
• Lead stretching exercises before each shift.
• Perform safety observations.
• Support management.
• Provide coaching and training to team members.
• Communicate effectively with leadership.
• Perform yard marshalling duties.
• Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
• Oversee a specified area within the work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations.
