About The Position

This is a full-time, permanent position for a Warehouse Laborer, working 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday). The role involves monitoring and maintaining produce inventory, ensuring accuracy in receiving and shipping, and coordinating pallet operations. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence, leading by example, and maintaining a positive attitude while adhering to all safety policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience in operations/distribution or related business.
  • Outstanding organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate with external and internal customers at all levels (English).
  • Strong computer skills, with ability to use Microsoft Office, Excel and comfort with systems.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.
  • Must be able to lift material regularly up to 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time.
  • A positive attitude in the workplace is required.
  • Ability to adhere to all human resources, operational and food and health safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain visibility of all produce inventory and commodities within the warehouse.
  • Own inventory process, metrics, and actions linked to inventory management.
  • Ensuring the highest levels of internal customer service to avoid delaying product stability while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Performing urgent reactive / high accuracy count verifications in the warehouse.
  • Responsible for overseeing receiving & shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of receipts and shipments.
  • Coordinate and execute pallet de-stacking and re-stacking as required based on customer orders, ensuring the correct product, quantities, and pallet configuration are prepared for shipment.
  • Determine trends and common patterns to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies.
  • Escalating grower quality concerns affecting produce and working with Lead, commodities, procurement /supply to initiate corrective actions.
  • Performs QA inspections on inbound and outbound product utilizing the Clarifresh platform.
