About The Position

The Warehouse Laborer will monitor and maintain visibility of all produce inventory and commodities within the warehouse. This role owns the inventory process, metrics, and actions linked to inventory management, ensuring the highest levels of internal customer service to avoid delaying product stability while maintaining inventory accuracy. Responsibilities include performing urgent reactive / high accuracy count verifications, overseeing receiving & shipping activities, and coordinating pallet de-stacking and re-stacking. The role also involves determining trends to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and escalating grower quality concerns. The incumbent will perform QA inspections on inbound and outbound product utilizing the Clarifresh platform. This position requires a commitment to customer service excellence, leading by example, a positive attitude, and adherence to all HR, operational, and food and health safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience in operations/distribution or related business.
  • Outstanding organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate with external and internal customers at all levels (English).
  • Strong computer skills, with ability to use Microsoft Office, Excel and comfort with systems.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.
  • Must be able to lift material regularly up to 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain visibility of all produce inventory and commodities within the warehouse.
  • Own inventory process, metrics, and actions linked to inventory management.
  • Ensure the highest levels of internal customer service to avoid delaying product stability while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Perform urgent reactive / high accuracy count verifications in the warehouse.
  • Oversee receiving & shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of receipts and shipments.
  • Coordinate and execute pallet de-stacking and re-stacking as required based on customer orders, ensuring the correct product, quantities, and pallet configuration are prepared for shipment.
  • Determine trends and common patterns to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies.
  • Escalate grower quality concerns affecting produce and work with Lead, commodities, procurement /supply to initiate corrective actions.
  • Perform QA inspections on inbound and outbound product utilizing the Clarifresh platform.
