About The Position

The purpose for this position is to assist in daily operational duties at the facility. This role is responsible for maintaining operations at a retail supply location, following the maintenance schedule of the facility and equipment. Key duties include inventory and distribution of products, stocking and moving warehouse product and material, and assisting both full-time and part-time operations personnel. The position also plays a role in maintaining the facility and equipment image, assisting in achieving goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs, and providing excellent customer service. The Warehouse Laborer works with the location manager on all safety and compliance issues. Other duties include following GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
1 or more years of retail related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of basic business principals of inventory management and mechanics.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Frequently required to lift 51-70 lbs as needed.
Frequently required to work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.).
Frequently exposed to working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
Will be required to work hours other than those considered “normal” to meet seasonal demands.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

Driving and delivering miscellaneous products as requested.
Stocking and moving warehouse product and material.
Assisting both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
Maintaining the facility and equipment image.
Assisting in obtaining goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Providing excellent customer service.
Working with location manager on all safety and compliance issues.
Following GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Driving and running local errands as needed.
Performing all other duties as assigned.
