About The Position
Simon & Schuster, a global leader in general interest publishing, is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Janitor to join their Distribution Center in Jackson, TN. This is a floating role within the warehouse operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Some janitorial experience
- Ability to stand on feet for shift
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to follow all safety rules
Nice To Haves
- Forklift operation experience
Responsibilities
- Sweeping and dusting
- Emptying trash
- Cleaning of restrooms
- Moving pallets from various locations to designated area using a forklift
- Various department projects
- Supporting various departmental activities
- Other duties as assigned
