Warehouse Custodian / Janitor
About The Position
Uline is seeking a Custodian for its brand new Ohio branch. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of Uline's best-in-class warehouses, which are described as bright, spotless, and organized. The position emphasizes the importance of maintaining world-class facilities alongside product quality and service. Uline is a family-owned company and a leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials with a significant employee base across multiple locations. The company is a drug-free workplace and requires pre-employment drug screening for all new hires. All positions are on-site.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Frequently move packages weighing up to 50 - 70 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous custodial / cleaning experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting racks as well as interior and exterior building maintenance.
- Process trash removal and box scraps with a compactor.
- Operate floor scrubber and other equipment.
- Assist in special projects, performing general labor to support operation requirements as needed.
