Requirements

• COMPUTER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Aides in the verification of product received, stored or shipped by performing the following duties.
• Verifies paperwork to ensure checkers have performed their duties correctly.
• Ensures the product is in compliance with all HACCP policies upon receipt or shipment.
• Up-stacking or down-stacking of product for storage, loading and inventories.
• Passes all requirements to be a PIE operator for OK Foods.
• Maintains an absentee rate of 5% or less.
