Job Summary: The Prototype Center Electrical Technician will work within the American Rheinmetall (AR) engineering team focused on performing vehicle electrical harness, electronic equipment assembly and vehicle assembly tasks on prototype vehicles and systems to meet schedule, budget and quality expectation of customer.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in preparing and packaging items for safe transport to a given location.
  • 1-3 years of experience in processing receipt and logging items into an ERP system, scanning and storing packing slips, and communicating with SC Buyers and/or item Requestor regarding incoming items.
  • Experience driving a fork truck or pallet stacker.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Valid Certification for Fork Truck Operation.
  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint or PLEX software systems.
  • Experience in managing GFP.
  • Experience in managing calibrated equipment and use of GageTRAK or TipQA.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams software.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving hazardous materials (batteries, oils, solvents, paints).

Responsibilities

  • Working with partners and teammates to ship and receive required material for AR’s combat vehicle prototypes and systems.
  • Prepare and pack items for safe transport to a given shipping location.
  • Ability to process receipt and log items into ERP system as digital article of receipt.
  • Scan and store packing slips to appropriate SC area via computer.
  • Verbal and written communication to SC Buyers and item Requestor for outgoing/incoming items.
  • Operation of fork truck and/or pallet stacker.
  • Handling and management of Government Furnished Property (GFP).
  • Ability to work independently.
