About The Position

The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining the physical inventory items in the warehouse, offloading trucks, putting inventory away in the warehouse, and processing related record keeping for purchase orders, receipts, and releasing stocks to the plant. This role involves receiving warehouse deliveries, maintaining accurate warehouse inventory, keeping rag gaylords stacked and organized, and managing the "buying out" of products from the warehouse. The specialist will also assist in opening up and injecting product into the system when possible, record receipts from vendors and stock releases to the plant, and perform weekly physical inventory and auditing of differences in the recording system. Other duties may be assigned by the Production Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be able to operate a fork lift truck.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience of computer based inventory recording systems.
  • Minimum 1 year relative experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the physical inventory items in the warehouse.
  • Offload trucks and put up inventory in the warehouse.
  • Process record keeping for purchase orders, receipts, and releasing stocks to the plant.
  • Receive warehouse deliveries.
  • Maintain a correct warehouse inventory.
  • Keep rag gaylords stacked and organized.
  • Be in charge of "buying out" products from the warehouse.
  • Assist in the opening up and injecting the product into our system when possible.
  • Record receipts from vendors and stock releases to the plant.
  • Perform weekly physical inventory and auditing of differences in the recording system.
