About The Position

EVCS is looking for a Warehouse & Inventory Manager to join our growing team and take ownership of our Arcadia, CA warehouse. This is an on-site, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and takes pride in running a clean, accurate, and well-organized warehouse operation. You will be the main point of contact for all site inventory activity, managing shipping and receiving, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring proper documentation across every transaction. You will also coordinate closely with our third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse partner to keep inventory aligned and product flowing smoothly between locations. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or logistics - ideally within EV, energy, construction, or hardware startup environments
  • Hands-on experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes and documentation
  • Proficient with inventory or warehouse management systems (e.g., NetSuite, Smartsheet, or similar WMS/ERP platforms)
  • Comfortable operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work on-site full-time at the Arcadia, CA warehouse
  • Experience coordinating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers or external warehouse partners
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Passion for sustainability and clean transportation

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site lead for the Arcadia warehouse, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient facility
  • Manage all inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, inspecting, staging, and dispatching materials and equipment
  • Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records, and conduct regular cycle counts and physical audits to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Complete and maintain all required shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory logs, in accordance with company policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with our third-party logistics warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers, shipments, and stock reconciliation between locations.
  • Monitor stock levels, track usage trends, and proactively flag shortages, overstock, or discrepancies to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse layout, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials and equipment
  • Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in compliance with safety standards
  • Prepare and maintain regular inventory and warehouse status reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with operations, field teams, and other departments to support material needs and resolve inventory-related issues
