Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification (preferred, if applicable).
  • Experience using inventory management software, ERP systems, or Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Ability to safely load, unload, and organize inventory and equipment.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical aptitude or experience working with tools, parts, or construction materials is a plus.
  • Experience in fleet coordination, warehouse operations, or the garage door, construction, or home service industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through routine monitoring, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
  • Receive, inspect, label, organize, and properly store incoming inventory and materials.
  • Order, replenish, and manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for daily operations.
  • Deliver parts and materials to technicians and installers as needed to support field operations.
  • Restock technicians' carts with required parts and supplies in preparation for the next workday.
  • Track inventory usage and ensure all stock movements are accurately documented in the inventory management system.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare inventory for internal distribution or shipment.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy and timely replenishment.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials required for technicians are readily available to support efficient daily operations.
  • Assist with fleet logistics by preparing and stocking loaner vehicles for technicians when company vehicles are out of service.
  • Transport company vehicles to designated dealerships, repair facilities, or service centers for maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Coordinate vehicle swaps to minimize technician downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Assist with continuous improvements to inventory control processes, warehouse organization, and fleet support operations.
