About The Position

In this role as Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor, you will be the main point of contact for an essential part of the supply chain process, in charge of maintaining safety standards to ensure that products are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree PLUS minimum 1 year experience in warehouse distribution, shipping, or manufacturing supervision OR Associate degree PLUS minimum 2 years related experience, OR HS diploma/GED PLUS minimum 4 years related experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and MRP/ERP purchasing software.
  • Must have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce OSHA, DOT, and internal safety regulations. Ensure all equipment (e.g., forklifts) is properly maintained and employees follow safe handling protocols.
  • Train, orient, coach, and schedule warehouse staff while resolving interpersonal conflicts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of Finished Goods, conduct regular physical audits, track incoming/outgoing shipments, and minimize loss or damage.
  • Strategically plan and manage the flow of goods and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Optimize floor layout to maximize space and efficiency.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent costly production delays and avoid tying up too much capital in excess inventory.
  • Analyze sales data and production schedules to determine material requirements.
  • Generate purchase orders, coordinate deliveries, and track supplier performance.
