About The Position

The Warehouse II supports daily operations at Hirsch Pipe & Supply’s Central Distribution Center by accurately receiving, storing, picking, packing, staging, and shipping plumbing and HVAC products. The role requires prior warehouse experience, RF scanner use, and forklift operation, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. The position also involves maintaining an organized warehouse, following company procedures, and assisting with inventory and other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
• Experience using an RF scanner.
• Forklift experience.
• Professional, approachable, and customer-focused demeanor.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse or logistics experience in construction, plumbing, or HVAC.
• Forklift experience with a sit-down forklift, cherry picker, or stand-up forklift.
• Familiarity with inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders using an RF scanner.
• Load and unload shipments.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Receive, stock, and organize plumbing and HVAC materials and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as needed.
